A talk with Smithsonian curator Kevin Dumouchelle

Join the Norwich Public Library for a zoom presentation by curator Kevin
Dumouchelle, author of the forthcoming book “Heroes: Principles of African
Greatness,” a book based on the exhibition of the same name currently on
view at the National Museum of African Art, Smithsonian Institution.

The book and exhibition “Heroes: Principles of African Greatness” pairs
artwork with heroes in history and invites readers to consider the values
they embody: justice, integrity, generosity, and empathy. The talk will
present a selection of artworks and heroes from the book and exhibition.
