*What is Galentine’s Day?
For those who might not be familiar with the unofficial holiday, the concept is pretty simple: Celebrating female friendships the day before the commercialized and sometimes not-so-uplifting Valentine’s Day. Conceived by Amy Poehler’s character, Leslie Knope, of NBC’s comedy series Parks and Recreation, Galentine’s Day has taken hold across the US as a day to celebrate friendship with all your best gal-friends, moms and coworkers.

For more information and to RSVP by February 6th, call CommunityCare of Lyme at 603-795-0603, or email events@cclyme.org.
