Celebrate International Dot Day with the Fairlee Library

Anytime during open hours on Thursday, 9/15, Friday 9/16, or Saturday 9/17.

Based on the book The Dot by Peter Reynolds, International Dot Day is a
celebration of creativity.

We’ll have art supplies out for you to make your own dot masterpiece. You can use watercolors, markers, crayons and paper. Make one or make several with different types of media, we’ll hang them up around the Library. You can also wear polka dots, or maybe all of your dotted clothing at once!

Take the Circle Challenge and see how many round items you can find at the Library. (There’s a small prize for the person
who find the most.)

If the weather is nice we’ll have the big bubble wands available for you to make some circles outside. Snacks will be available for you to grab and take with you once you’re done.

Come one day or come all three—our celebration will be Thursday, Sept 15-Saturday Sept 17. With all of this fun awaiting us, one day just didn’t seem like enough time.

This is an all ages event and I look forward to seeing what everyone creates. Be sure to stop by and check out my polka dots those days.
