Saturday June 29, 2019 will be a very special day in Orford when we will be celebrating completion of construction of the Bandstand and introducing it as a community gathering site for public events and entertainment. Here’s the full schedule:

EVENTS

4pm  

Squam Lake Natural Science Center presents “Animal Athletes” featuring live animals at the Orford Bandstand on the East Common.

5:30pm to 7pm

BBQ Dinner at Orford Congregational Church. Smoked brisket, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, sides (by donation)

6:15pm   

Strawberry Shortcake (by donation) at Orford Bandstand on the East Common in Orford

7:00pm                                

Dedication of the Bandstand

Yvonne and the Reverbs Concert

Events held rain or shine. In the event of a forecast of rain, there will be a tent.   Folks may want to bring their pop-up tents, or the like, as well. This will be last opportunity to buy raffle tickets for the lovely picnic blanket made by the very talented “Ville Quilters.  Drawing will be at the intermission of the concert.
