Free Qi Gong Class Series in Lyme

Submitted by Lynne Parshall, Utility Club of Lyme

The Utility Club of Lyme is pleased to offer a Tuesday evening FREE CLASS SERIES to decrease stress and increase feeling vibrant and alive.  Come to any or all classes. No experience needed.  Mature teens and adults of any fitness level are encouraged to attend.  Feel great, learn about your energy, and take away some helpful tips to incorporate into everyday living.

The class will be held at 5 PM on the grass at the Post Pond Recreation Area for 4 Tuesdays in June (6/7, 6/14, 6/21 and 6/28).

Rain location will be announced if needed.

Dr. Angela Santavicca, a certified Qi Gong Instructor, will lead the classes.  Using simple standing flows, poses, and breathing patterns, this class will give you the experience and the take home tools to help you reduce stress. Improve balance, sleep, and and your overall physical, emotional, and mental well being.

Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese martial art that uses easy “exercises” in a special sequence to rebalance and replenish “qi”  – your vital energy and spirit.    It is gentle, completely portable, easy, fun, and does not require any special level of physical strength or conditioning.

Bring some water or refreshing beverage, wear comfortable clothing, and if you would like a chair for stability or taking a break, bring it too.

We hope to see you when we begin Tuesday June 7 at 5 PM at Post Pond. Learn more from Dr. Santavicca’s Wellness Wednesday post here.

Mark your calendars, show up, and experience being with a group of people who care about community and personal vitality.

If you have questions feel free to contact Dr. Santavicca at easytobeyou.com 🙂

Please, I would like some idea of how many people to expect, so if you could let me know that would be great.  When in doubt, just come 🙂
