Lyme Citizen of the Year Nominations

As Posted by Matt Prince, president of The Lyme Foundation on the Lyme ListServ, 1/2/23

Each year, the Lyme Foundation presents the Lyme Citizen of the Year to honor a Lyme resident or residents for their positive impact on the town, and for their work within the community to make Lyme thrive.

From our first award in 1999 to Dorcas Chaffee to last year’s winner Kathy Sherrieb, we recognize people that contribute to our town in a variety of ways.  A complete list of recipients is available on our website.

The award would not be possible without the active engagement of those making the nominations. It’s a very simple nominating process, with complete details and an online nomination form on our website: www.lymefoundation.org.

We’d like the reason you feel your nominee deserves the award, a few details about the nature of their involvement in town life, and suggestions about who else might know about their service. Simple!

We’re accepting nominations now through January 31st. Please submit online at www.lymefoundation.org or send your nomination to Joan Barthold: joanbarthold58@gmail.com / 21 Pinnacle Rd, Lyme, NH 03768

Thank you! With your help, we look forward to honoring citizens who inspire others through their dedication and service.
