NPR: A Resource in a World of Uncertainties

There are many organizations that support individuals and communities either at a local or national level. Once per month, for Wellness Wednesday, we will share one of these well-respected organizations in order to connect you with more resources that support Health & Wellness.

This month, in the midst of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, we are sharing two NPR resources for you to review to both care for yourself and the people of Ukraine.

The first article we are sharing is their post, “5 Ways to Cope with the Stressful News Cycle” by Andee Tagle. With increased global tensions, this article gives 5 practical pointers to manage stress.

The second article we are sharing is their post, “Want to support the people in Ukraine? Here’s how you can help” by Jeff Dean and Jonathan Franklin. If you want to contribute financially, NPR has collected reputable organizations asking for assistance at this time. This resource will help you understand how your funds will be utilized to support the people of Ukraine.
