With Leaders: Lori Fortini, MEd and Lora Gerard, MPA
This 3-week program will provide a time to share poems and other readings that provide meaning and comfort in this uncertain time. You need to register for each class to get the zoom link an hour before the class.
We will be limiting the class size as this is a discussion group. If you wish to attend the full series, please sign up for all 3 sessions early or the class may be full. It is fine if you prefer to listen more than share, but we want to make sure everyone who wants to speak has the opportunity!
Please let us know if you have any questions or need help with enrolling.
Lora Gerard and Lori Fortini will present a few poems or brief readings each week for discussion and exploration.
Week 1 – May 8: Lora and Lori will share readings from their own libraries
Week 2 – May 15 to Week 4 – May 29: We will share and discuss recommendations from group participants. The readings could be from either known poets or original works if someone wishes to share. We will ask participants to send in electronic copies of poems/readings ahead of time. Lora and Lori will chose a few to share on the screen. Because of copy right laws, we will present only poems/readings that are in the public domain or are easily available online.
You will receive a zoom link for this class 60 minutes before the class starts. The zoom link will be sent directly to the email you registered with.
