Beginner Gardening Workshop at Cedar Circle Farm

Come learn from our farm educators about the many different aspects of
growing food, in order to get the most out of your garden this season.
Bring your questions and ideas to share with the group, and a notebook to
start recording your plan!

This workshop is a general overview of the many factors to consider as you
plan your garden, including different crops’ requirements and nutrient
needs, our hardiness zone, and possible pests/diseases you may encounter.
Other topics we will discuss include crop rotation, season extension,
companion planting, and cover cropping.

This class is geared towards growers with 0-2 seasons of experience, as an
introduction or refresher.
