JOURNEYS

Bel Canto celebrates the Spring season by exploring the many forms of journeys, from physical travel to flights of imagination, from past remembrances to future hopes, from spiritual and metaphorical to transformational.  We will take these various journeys through music for choir, piano, and handbells, across a range of musical genres and styles. We are happy to be collaborating with the handbell choir from Church of Christ at Dartmouth College in Dan Forrest’s exciting “A Bronze Triptych”. Other pieces include works by Mendelssohn, Brahms, and Stanford, as well as arrangements from folk, Native American and African American spiritual traditions. Click here to see what we will sing.
