Beginners always welcome
Contra dancing is a must-do New England tradition.
The dance starts at 7:30, with a beginner session at 7:15. Dance lasts until 10:30 with potluck snacks at the break – you don’t have to stay the whole time, but it’s more fun if you do!
Admission is a pay-what-you-want scale from $12-20, $8 for students, free if you’re under 16. We take Venmo, cash, and check!
Masks welcome, but not required.
And you’re paying for a LIVE BAND AND CALLER! Lovely and energetic LIZ NELSON will be on the mic calling, with TRUFFLE CREEK, a young, fresh, and lively band (Lillian Chase on the fiddle, Jonah Spear on guitar and foot percussion, and Cecily Mills on the Cello).
