Come out and enjoy a day of sledding with Enfield Recreation! Come out Friday afternoon from 12-2pm for an afternoon of feeling the wind in your hair. Don’t worry about pulling your kiddos out of school for this event as it is the Friday of Winter Break for the Mascoma School District! This event is not exclusive to just kids, grab your office and leave the office early Friday and feel like a kid again!
Team/Sled with the best theme wins a prize along with fastest sled!
• Fastest Sled
o You will get two timed runs and the fastest time of those two runs will be put against other fastest times to see who will hold the fastest sled title.
• Best Decorated/Themed Team/Sled
o Are you creative, have a great group of friends, or great set of co-workers then we have a category for you. We don’t want you to just come down the hill on a normal sled, we want to see your creativity run wild. Build, Decorate or duct tape a sled together to win this category. The best built sled with the most unique building materials and style will win this “Best of Snow” award! *Costumes are highly encouraged*
Don’t worry about the cold as the Shaker Museum will graciously have Hot Coco and Coffee for free while supplies last!
So, get your sleds ready for the Enfield Sledding Day on February 23rd from 12-2pm on the hill to the south of Town Hall or across the street from the Shaker Museum!
