The much anticipated Spring Alumni Tour is Canceled by the snow storm.
After a 5-year hiatus (COVID ripple effects) the Hyannis Sound a cappella group will be returning to Lyme on Sunday March 24th for a 2pm concert at the Congregational Church, as part of their spring Alumni tour.
The Hyannis Sound is a college a cappella “super group”: 10 college-aged young men whose summer job is singing weekly concerts at multiple venues on Cape Cod. During their Upper Valley spring tour the current group is often joined by alumni from earlier years; former Lyme resident Marc Whittington sang in the group back in the day!
$10 for adults and children by donations. The Hanover High School a cappella group Dachords will be singing that afternoon as an opening act.
They always put on a good show: tight harmonies, soaring solos, and a high energy performance — a musical antidote to the mud-season blahs!
