Mending Cafe is back!

Saturday, February 17th, 10 AM-12 PM, Drop-In | The community room @
Norwich Public Library | Recurring on the 3rd Saturday of the month

Mending Cafe is back in 2024! This monthly event is a community skills
exchange plus a fun social gathering – all are welcome to come with a
mending/sewing project to work on, whether a quick fix or a multi-step
challenge. Need help? Come with questions! Are you an expert with a sewing
skill or tip you could share? Let us know! Email

We’ll have sewing machines and other mending/sewing supplies on hand. Grab
a mug of tea, have fun, make new connections, and walk away more
comfortable with mending techniques that can help us all live more
sustainably. *New this season*: first half-hour will be devoted to a
particular skill – darning, sewing buttons, etc and general help will be
available for the balance of cafe time.
