Session 3: Preparing the garden bed and starting seeds
Join us Saturday April 16th (rain date April 30th) at 9:00 or 11:00am for a hands-on workshop at the Thetford Center green. Participants will learn how to prepare and plant native seeds for their garden, as well as a variety of methods for creating garden beds. Together we will prepare garden beds at the Community Garden on the Thetford Center green, making way for a lovely community pollinator garden.
Bring gardening gloves, if you prefer, and an empty plant pot or salad greens container for a DIY seeding
tray. Parking is available next to the green at the Thetford Community Center, and across from the green at the
Timothy Frost Church and Thetford Town Hall. Please bring a mask for your pocket (just in case it seems wise to mask at some point). This hands-on workshop will have two morning sessions available. Please sign up here for either the 9am session or the 11am session.
This series is sponsored by the Thetford Conservation Commission and the West Fairlee Conservation Commission.
