Lyme Congregational Church will be holding the following special services of worship during Holy Week:
Maundy Thursday – Thursday, April 6 at 7:00 pm in Fellowship Hall.
This will be a quiet contemplative service including the celebration of Holy Communion followed by the Office of Tenebrae, the extinguishing of lights. We will depart in silence. This service will not be live-streamed.
Easter Sunday – Sunday, April 9 at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary.
We celebrate the Resurrection, with special music provided by a Community Choir under the direction of Mark Nelson.
In addition, we encourage you to join in ecumenical services for:
- Good Friday at St. Thomas Church in Hanover – Friday, April 7 at noon
- Easter Sunrise at Thetford Academy – Sunday, April 9. The morning will begin with an extended time of quiet meditation, beginning at 6:00 am. Sunrise is at 6:17 am.
