The Lyme Town Band is pleased to announce that it has two upcoming concerts on the Lyme Common. The dates are Tuesday, July 26 and Tuesday, August 2. Both concerts begin at 7:00 pm. They are free, but donations are always appreciated.

Concert goers can expect programs with varied content that will include patriotic songs, spirited marches, wind band classics and a few forgotten gems that our music director Mark Nelson has unearthed from the band library’s extensive archive.

These will be the band’s only appearances on the Common this summer. The heritage of town band concerts on “the village green” is one that dates back over 150 years in the United States. The Lyme Town Band is pleased to help keep that tradition alive. We hope you’ll come out and revel in this special piece of Americana.
