We will present the films with subtitles to enable those among us with hearing loss to enjoy the experience as fully as possible.
 
We will have plenty of cold water to drink. Feel free to bring your own snack and covered drink. The Conant Meeting Room will be ventilated and air-conditioned. Masks are your choice. The schedule is below. Please spread the word, and if anyone needs a ride, let us know.

???? THURSDAY, July 21: One Night in Miami (2021; with Leslie Odom Jr, Aldis Hodge, Eli Goree, and Kingsley Ben-Adir; directed by Regina King) 
A fictional account of one incredible night where icons Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, Sam Cooke, and Jim Brown gathered discussing their roles in the Civil Rights Movement and cultural upheaval of the 60s (MPAA rating: R; 1 hr, 54 min).
 
???? FRIDAY, July 22: Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised)  (2021; directed by Questlove)
Documentary about the legendary 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival which celebrated African-American music and culture and promoted Black pride and unity (MPAA rating: PG-13; 1 hr, 58 min).

Teens are welcome, too!
