This year’s Hanover High boys’ soccer team will be playing for the state championship, with a foundation of seven (7!) Lyme boys. Huge congratulations to Ryder Hayes, Carter and Will Guerin, Sean Smith, Wyatt Seelig, Henry Werner and Joseph Glass!

These athletes played together on the Lyme Rec and Lightning teams for years, some of them since they were in kindergarten, and they combine skill with an admirable level of sportsmanship and commitment to the team. (My favorite statistic in most sports is number of assists, and Carter just set the all-time season record for Hanover.)
