Please help us nourish our neighbors! How? Join us for a SPINACH GLEAN: Wednesday, May 18th 9:00am – 10:30am. Killdeer Farm at 195 Ely Road in Ely, VT.
Our Killdeer Farm partners have generously offered to let us harvest surplus spinach from their fields in Fairlee. All produce gleaned by volunteer teams will be distributed by Willing Hands to help fight hunger in the Upper Valley.
There are a lot of beautiful greens to glean, so we need as many helping hands as we can get!
DIRECTIONS + PARKING: Please arrive on time – 9:00am – to register with the gleaning leaders. Meet at Killdeer Farm 195 Ely Road in Ely VT. Take the turn for Britton Lumber Yard off of Rt 5, cross the train tracks and take an immediate right, the destination will be on your left. Your glean leader will meet you there.
