The Upper Valley Community Band will be performing music by Gustav Holst, William Schuman, Charles Ives, John Philip Sousa, the Beatles, and more at the Lebanon Opera House at 7:30 pm on Saturday evening January 11. The band consists of approximately 60 local wind, brass, and percussion players who meet every Monday evening to rehearse and share their love of music. It is directed by Mark Nelson, a truly multitalented musician who recently led the Lyme Community Choir on Christmas Eve.
