Easy Raspberry Halloween Mummy Pies

With just one week ’til Halloween, it’s time to start thinking about a fun (and sweet) Halloween treat to kick off the day! This past weekend I gave these a try. They were easy to make, tasted great and looked cute too! A few notes:
- To find the candy eyes in the Upper Valley was a bit of a scavenger hunt. I eventually found them at Joanne’s Fabrics in West Lebanon. Check their baking section – I found them in with the sprinkles.
- I made two different batches one with just raspberry jam, and a second with raspberry jam and dark chocolate peanut butter. Both were tasty!
- I added a dusting of cinnamon sugar over them right out of the oven.
- I made these in the evening to give to friends the following morning. While getting ready for the day I put them back in the oven for about 5 minutes so they were warm and flaky while being enjoyed.
